History Of The Wales National Course Opened in June 2003 by Great Britain Olympic gold medalist Sir Steve Redgrave, the Wales National has already played host to several European Challenge Tour and Seniors Tour events as well as the Europro Tour. The golf course was also the venue for the Sky-televised FIRSTPLUS Wales Seniors Open and SWALEC Wales Challenge. As a Ryder Cup Centre of Excellence, facilities are second to none. Home to a 16 bay covered driving range, three practice putting greens, a short game practice area. Cutting edge coaching technology such as Trackman and high-speed video is also available to help improve your game. The spa is undoubtedly one of the jewels in the resort’s crown and promises an excellent spa treat.
